FrostClick Compilation Vol I

Dec 2009

We've enjoyed a string of fun shows this fall, sharing the stage with touring acts like The Subjects and some great local bands including Via Dove, The Ottomen, The Orbz, Dear Vincent, Axo, and Paul Staples & the Fire. If you've had an eye on our myspace page or twitter feed, you'll already know that we've got a gang of new songs in the incubator. We're taking the next few weeks to piece together a new set of live songs and get the ball rolling on our next recordings.

Mid-July Update

We're just off of a really fun show with Adam Franklin night before last, so thanks to everyone who was there. Adam played solo, which was a great opportunity to hear his guitar parts singled out. Watching him use his stomp boxes was of particular interest, as he seems to choose different effects for certain chords within the same part of a song.

July 13 show w/ Adam Franklin at the Firebird in STL

I hold Adam's music in very high esteem, so it's going to be especially fun to play this show. If you're not familiar with Swervedriver, Toshack Highway, or his most recent release Adam Franklin & Bolts of Melody, I command you to familiarize yourself right away.

Monday July 13 @ The Firebird

FrostClick Feature

If you haven't had a chance to do it yet, check out our feature/interview on http://www.frostclick.com.

FrostClick is a blog that promotes creative commons licensed (ie free and legal downloads) music, software, videos and games. They're associated with the p2p file sharing software FrostWire, which (you guessed it) lets users share cc licensed data. All the fun of file sharing without having to be an outlaw.

Here you go.

If you've made it this far, you probably will have noticed that our album is download-able from the front page of this site. That's the big news in our little world, so download it... Listen to it, even.

It's Alive!

Happy to report that we've got our hands on the finished recordings! Brad Sarno at Blue Jade Audio Mastering did a great job bringing our little Frankenstein to life. We've got a few tracks posted to the myspace profile that folks can check out.

We'll be streaming music from this website and making announcements about a release party and official release date in the next week or so..

Let the mastering begin..

If you're one of the people who have been hearing about our album being ready to drop for the last.. um.. little while, the time is actually close at hand. I know I've been leading you on this whole time, but this is really it. We're moments away from handing off our mixes to our esteemed mastering engineer of choice, and then there's not stopping us!

Sign up for our mailing list, and you'll be notified the moment our newborn album is alive in the world.
