FrostWire First Million Compilation

I woke up today with news in my inbox that Glass Waves have been included in the FrostClick FrostWire First Million Downloads Compilation. The collection features tracks from 20 of the artists featured on the FrostClick blog and a digital booklet with photos and info on each of the artists. Check it out:

FrostClick Compilation Vol I

Sat Feb 6 @ Mangia Italiano

We may be joined by another group for this show, but we'll definitely be trying on some of our new material... more info to come.

Sat Dec 19 @ the Tap Room

We'll be playing with:

The Ottomen
Mad Titans

We always have a blast playing in the Schlafly Tap Room. There's no cover charge & plenty of St Louis beer brewed in house to add to the music.

The Ottomen have been bringing their no-nonsense rock holler-alongs to St Louis audiences for some time now. They always bring great energy & plenty of catchy lyrics.

Mad Titans' instrumental rock blends surf guitar tones with high-energy songs and the odd snippet of a classical melody for good measure.

Syna So Pro curated this show to feature bands that use looping in their live performance, so we've cooked up some new material that pushes that aspect of our sound a little further. The Luminary Center doubles as a gallery space and venue, so it should be a well-suited atmosphere to some more exploratory sounds.

Thursday August 20 @ the Tap Room

Free show, and a great excuse to drink Schlafly beer right at the source. We're playing with Paul Staples and Axo. Andy, who sings with Axo, has carried the harmonies on our stuff for the last few GW shows, so this is a good chance to see what his stuff is all about.

Mid-July Update

We're just off of a really fun show with Adam Franklin night before last, so thanks to everyone who was there. Adam played solo, which was a great opportunity to hear his guitar parts singled out. Watching him use his stomp boxes was of particular interest, as he seems to choose different effects for certain chords within the same part of a song.

July 13 show w/ Adam Franklin at the Firebird in STL

I hold Adam's music in very high esteem, so it's going to be especially fun to play this show. If you're not familiar with Swervedriver, Toshack Highway, or his most recent release Adam Franklin & Bolts of Melody, I command you to familiarize yourself right away.
